Niagara Falls set to Sparkle for Valentine’s Day

  • Niagara Falls will be illuminated in Red and Pink on Valentine’s Day
  • Special Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe menu offered at Table Rock House Restaurant
  • Niagara Parks Power Station & Currents night show to reopen on February 14

Celebrating Valentine’s Day in Niagara Falls is a tradition for many couples and this year there is no shortage of things to see and do at Niagara Parks with special Falls illuminations, exceptional dining experiences and the reopening of the Niagara Parks Power Station.

Valentine’s Day Falls Illumination

The nightly illumination of the Falls is a stunning spectacle any time of year, but the winter conditions always add an extra layer of sparkle to the landscape with the colours reflecting off the ice and snow. Those choosing to celebrate on February 14th can enjoy a special red and pink illumination at 10pm.

Romantic Dining at the Brink of the Falls

Niagara Parks’ signature restaurant, Table Rock House Restaurant, will be offering a Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe Dinner on Monday, February 14, featuring locally sourced food and drink. Guests will take in unparalleled views of the illuminated Horseshoe Falls as they enjoy an exclusive menu with classic entrées like beef tenderloin and rainbow trout, along with comfort offerings including a vegan pot pie. The Prix Fixe menu includes a welcome cocktail, starter, entrée and dessert, all for $65. Online reservations also include free parking and can be made at niagaraparks.com/dinner.

Niagara Parks Power Station to Reopen

Those looking for the classic Valentine’s date night of dinner and a show are in luck, with the Niagara Parks Power Station and its award-winning nighttime experience, Currents, reopening on February 14. Named as one of the best new things to see and do in Canada by the Globe and Mail, the Niagara Parks Power Station has captured the imagination of its visitors and world since opening its doors this past summer. Currents: Niagara’s Power Transformed brings the historic station back to life with an unforgettable, interactive light and sound experience that can only happen inside this one of a kind building. Shows run nightly at 6:30pm and tickets can be purchased at niagaraparks.com/currents.
