Spectators Invited to Attend Canada Summer Games Golf Events at Legends on the Niagara, August 17 – 20

Legends on the Niagara set to host Canada Summer Games golf competitions with no admission fees for spectators

Niagara Falls, ON – Niagara Parks is proud to collaborate with the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games, with Week 2 golf events set to take place on the Battlefield Course at Legends on the Niagara Golf Complex. Both mixed team and individual golf events will consist of four rounds of play, taking place August 17 – 20, with daily tee-off at 9 a.m. and 9:40 a.m.

Tickets are not required for spectators, who are welcome to support athletes and walk behind the golfers, per Golf Canada regulations. For the full Games schedule and livestreamed events, please visit niagara2022games.ca.

  • Wednesday, August 17: Round 1 – Individual Female, Male, and Team Mix
  • Thursday, August 18: Round 2 – Individual Female, Male, and Team Mix
  • Friday, August 19: Round 3 – Individual Female, Male and Team Mix 
  • Saturday, August 20: Finals – Individual Female, Male and Team Mix

Closing Ceremony 

August 21 from 7 – 10 p.m.

The Niagara 2022 Summer Games will formally conclude overlooking the iconic views of Niagara Falls with its Parade of Teams joining in a spectacular public Closing Ceremony at Queen Victoria Park

The special evening will feature a number of Indigenous performances, with music by Toronto’s POESY and guitarist of The Tragically Hip, Paul Langlois, in support of the Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack Fund, to build cultural understanding and create a path toward reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. The free event will conclude with fireworks at 10 p.m. and a special illumination of Niagara Falls.

Upcoming Road Closure: A road closure along the Niagara Parkway between Clifton Hill and Murray Street will be in effect from 5 – 11 p.m. on Sunday, August 21.

At the peak of Niagara’s boldest summer yet, more than 5,000 up-and-coming athletes, their coaches and support staff will gather in the Niagara Region to compete for the podium in Canada’s largest multi-sport event.
